Leveraging your business means bringing on support, which means you won’t be doing everything yourself. Hallelujah! This is truly a godsend…

EXCEPT it also means that your support team will inevitably let you down. Something won’t get done, or something won’t get done right, and you might find yourself feeling frustrated.

Let’s be honest, sometimes you might even feel frustration or even rage.

You wanted something done and you wanted it done right, bah!

The email went out with the wrong link to the wrong list, ugh!

You’re in the middle of launching and things aren’t working, noooo!

Your client didn’t get what they needed and now you look bad, grrrr!

Sound familiar?

The first thing to remember is that it’s human nature to make mistakes. Mistakes will happen as a part of that process, and you have to be prepared for that reality. Growing a team requires that you roll with the mistakes and use them as a way to build and solidify the systems that your business needs.

The second thing to remember is that operating from a space of rage about the mistakes is really an indication of your own shame…

Let’s break this down…

When you feel rage, instead of rolling with the punches… this is your internal shame for…

  • Not having trained your team well enough.
  • Not having the right systems in place.
  • Looking bad in the eyes of others
  • Not feeling good enough.

And this shame hampers your ability to show up as the powerful creator that you are. It brings up the stories you tell yourself about your own self worth, and who you have to be to others. It keeps you from showing up fully and serving at your highest potential. Worse yet, it keeps you from making powerful decisions that move your business forward.

Feeling shame and rage doesn’t serve anyone or anything.

Not you. Not your clients. Not your team. Not your ability to quantum leap.

And here’s the important thing to remember: feeling that frustration, rage, and underlying shame is both a choice and an absolute waste of energy.

It pushes you into spinout, which means you’re losing valuable time and wasting your valuable mental resources… and this dramatically slows down your business growth.

Here’s what you do instead:

  • Shift your energy and mindset immediately. Put it in perspective. You could even laugh about it. Feel gratitude for who’s supporting you or what’s going right. Remind yourself these things happen.
  • Think about what you’d do differently, without dwelling on the mistakes or errors. Learn the lessons, note what needs to change about the flow, and see it as an opportunity to turn your systems and team into a well oiled machine.
  • Get back to running and growing and serving in your business. What is the next necessary action step to keep your business moving forward? Go do that.

Learning how to build a team that supports YOU and your business’ growth is important. Understanding how to deal with the INNER and OUTER game aspects of that is critical.

You have to master this to make your quantum leap with both ease and grace.

Today I want to talk about something that’s super important when it comes to growing your business: what to do if your partner doesn’t support you making the necessary investments in your business?

Now, even if you’re not partnered, this topic is applicable to you because it’s about more than just the other person… (isn’t it always?)

In order to grow and leverage your business, you have to invest.

That can means spending money on hiring team, running ads, working with professionals, and running your marketing. If your partner (or the people around you) don’t have the same money mindset, that can cause some real tension and backlash!

AND, sometimes it actually has nothing to do with them. Sometimes it’s your own belief system around what they might think coming into play and getting in the way.

Click below to watch today’s video:

Whatever comes up for you as a result of watching this video, it’s ESSENTIAL to dive deeper into it if you’re really ready to make a quantum leap in your business. This is part of getting good with your money story.

The Power of Choice

Choice. It's the greatest power we have as humans.

You have it. I have it. We all have it.

But often we forget that we have choice because we're running on autopilot.

We forget that every reaction can be a choice.

Case in point…

Recently on a training call, my audio didn't work. WTF, right? I've used this service before. Why did this problem just arise? Hmmmm…

But instead of going down that rabbit hole and freaking out, I quickly walked downstairs and got my phone and headset, went back to my office, dialed in as a guest, and started the call.

No panic.
No freakout.
Just a huge amount of gratitude to my assistant for holding down the fort while it was happening.

This was a choice.

Because freaking out doesn't serve me or you in times like this. That would take me out of my power and distract me from providing a great teaching. And that is ultimately not of service to anyone.

And being bitter or disappointed about it afterward?
Also a choice and an absolute waste of my energy.

So I CHOOSE to laugh instead and roll with it, which I consider a much better plan. Keeps one's energy positive and the momentum going. (This isn't to say I haven't thought about what we could do differently next time.)

It also allows me to refocus and get back to the business of running my company quicker. Closing this gap is critical.

If you're spinning out, you're losing valuable time and wasting your valuable mental resources and this dramatically slows down your business growth.

Use your power of choice to decide at every moment how to react and make sure it serves you and your business.

You have the power to choose.
Start using it consciously and consistently.

Does Energetic Work Get Easier?

Have you ever said to yourself, “Please tell me that this inner energetic work gets easier so I can just get on with making bank from all my brilliant ideas”?

Yes?

I used to say that too. I was committed to my personal growth and doing what it took to show up as an unstoppable woman in business but quite honestly… I was tired of the emotional roller coaster that came with doing the deep transformational work.

The truth is it took me many years of working on my core limiting beliefs. Then one day I realized I was done with needing the deeper energetic, transformational work. Sure, things still come up occasionally, but they don't linger and it's not a rollercoaster of emotions because I know how to move through it. I don't get thrown for a loop like I used to.

In fact, when shizz comes up, I embrace it. I move toward it.

It's my growth edge and I always want to be growing.

So what changed for me?

As I said, I did lots of transformational work on myself.
That was really important and foundational.

But the real lynchpin was when I DECIDED I wasn't going to indulge ANY thoughts that caused me to spin out and become unproductive or unfocused. I made the CHOICE to have zero tolerance for any of that.

(Scroll down below this post to grab my free Stop Your Spinout Guide. I show you the exact method I used to stop these unproductive thoughts.)

Was that easy to execute? No.
Did it work? Yes.

If you're done with the emotional rollercoaster and getting emotionally sideswiped by triggers in your life and business and you just want to focus and show up every day as the unstoppable woman that you are… you can.

But first, you have a decision to make… are you or are you not going to indulge the thoughts that send you down the rabbit hole?

The answer to this question is what determines whether it gets easier or not.

[Case Study] She went from $45k to $534k

Do you want to know why most people don't make a quantum leap in income?

It's not because they're not smart enough

Or that they don't work hard enough

Or even because they don't have the right business plan… though all of those things help!

It's because when you're going for more… a lot more… you're going to hit the terror barrier.

The terror barrier comes up when you start taking the steps that really, really, really push you out of your comfort zone… and if you're not prepared with knowledge, support, and community… it will stop you… every time.

To explain, let me use my client Allison* as an example…

Allison is a landscape designer and when we started working together her average contract that she would go after was between $40,000 and $50,000.

But then, opportunities started opening up and she went for a $534k contract… AND GOT IT! This was huge!

But almost immediately the proverbial s— hit the fan. Things started blowing up left and right. There were issues with her team, finding the right people for the job… everything felt like it was going to be too much for her to handle.

It's NOT that she couldn't handle it….

It's that it felt like it was going to be too much. Her emotions got hold of her and threw her into DAILY ups and downs of intense fear, doubt, worry… and SHAME.

Can I really do this? Am I going to be outed as a fraud? Are they going to come after me? Was her worst nightmare of being not good enough going to be realized?

She started to experience intense anxiety, she couldn't sleep and was having a hard time functioning. In her own words… “It flattened her.”

See… this situation triggered a very old story about her father… a story that she thought that she had worked through long ago in therapy…

This is what the subconscious mind does in order to stop you when you're really going for more… like when you're going for 11x more than what you went for before… like going from a $45k contract to a half million dollar contract…

It grabs onto the most intense story… the one that makes you feel the most shame… and it triggers that…

Because god forbid you go for more and actualize on your dreams… your potential… what you want.

What was happening here was that Allison wasn't just moving through what she called her “daddy story” by talking through what happened in the past with her father…

She was actually TAKING ACTION that proved that she was done with being the little girl in that story…

She was taking action that directly countered the subconscious beliefs about herself that she had held for so many years.

Your subconscious programming DOES NOT LIKE IT when you do this– it thinks you're going to die when you do this– so it tries to stop you by throwing up intense, mind f—king emotions. THIS IS THE TERROR BARRIER.

And if you don't know The Laws of Success

And you don't have the support you need…

You'll stop at that barrier… and turn right around. You won't move through it. You'll never get to the other side… because it's just too intense. It will stop you and you'll keep playing small… thinking that you just can't do it.

But once you're on the other side of this, you never go back.

Allison got to the other side.

Now she's going after even bigger contracts… over $1 million… over $2 million…

She's on her way to being a $5 million dollar company.

This is how it works… you can move through your blocks and quantum leap your business very quickly in fact… if you want to… and if you get help to stay the course.

Does it take work? Will there be those emotional blocks?

Yes and yes.

But when you do the work and take the action, your self-esteem rises– you can listen to the in-depth discussion of this in video 2 of the no-cost training Cracking the Code to Income Generation Using the Laws of Success.

You can get that here: amiraalvarez.com/lawsofsuccessvideoseries

And when your self-esteem rises… so does your ability to receive more!

And this is exactly what happened for Allison… she moved to a whole new level of Self-Worth and she quantum leaped her business.

If you want to Quantum Leap your business… and go from where you are now to playing at a much bigger level… you need to understand and live the Law of Self-Worth.

Start with this training now.

How Could She Say Making Money Is Easy? [Nancy’s Story]

Is it easy for you to make money consistently? Or, if you're honest, do you struggle every month, wondering… Where's the money going to come from?

Does it feel harder than you want it to be?

You'll often hear me say… “It's easy to make money…”

But it's not just me… my clients say this too...

Recently I got a message from Nancy, who's in my Spirit of Wealth Mastermind

She started to list out everything that has opened up for her after joining the group…

A new paid teaching position, two new ideal clients coming to her, a verbal agreement on a major, major contract, chapter after chapter finally being written easily on her book, and her dream job…

That she's been dreaming about since 2011… that's 6 years that she's been wanting to do a project like this… came through!!!

She ended what she wrote with… “Making money is surprisingly easy. <3”

And best of all, she said… “This is big, but it doesn't even feel scary. It feels great.”

That's ease right there…

But what it took was doing something uncomfortable for her…

I told her to pick up the phone. Have that conversation with the people in charge. Put herself out there. Sell herself.

“Nope, Nancy. Don't send that email. Pick up the phone.”

She didn't want to, but she did it anyway. She took quick action before she could talk herself out of it.

And she got the results that she wanted!

The lesson here is: If you want different results, you've got to take different actions. You've got to stretch yourself and this will mean being uncomfortable… temporarily. This part won't feel easy.

But if you don't do it… you stay the same, you make the same amount of money, you continue struggling… and continue thinking… Why is this so hard? What's wrong with me?

So what are you going to do in 2018…

You've got a choice to make… stay the same and continue to make it harder than it needs to be?

Or take bold new action, to change your outcome dramatically?

It can happen very quickly if you want it to.
