who are your clients?

I work with long time entrepreneurs and folks just starting out in business, mostly women though not exclusively.

The entrepreneurs I work with are high integrity solo-entrepreneurs and small business owners. That’s my niche.

what’s the biggest challenge your clients face?

The biggest challenge for my clients is really owning what they want. We as a human race, and my clients in particular, dance around what they really want.

Owning it, of course, means risking disappointment. It also means the possibility of actually achieving it.

You can’t achieve what you really want if you don’t get to the heart of what it is, name it, define, and then go for it. If you don’t do this, you’re always going after the thing that’s perhaps close, but just not right.

This not only delays success, but makes your business hard.

where do people typically make the biggest gains?

Certainly around what I wrote about in my answer above. This is huge. Without getting to this, business feels hard because you’re always working at something that’s important, but not quite the sweet spot for you.

In addition, people start to enjoy their business and their life more. It starts feeling really good and less of a grind.

I emphasize really plugging into your energy and defining your business, and how you show up in your business, around what amps up your energy and flow. I teach people how to honor this and make decisions based on this and they not only make more money, but end up having a happier time running their business as well.

what differentiates you from other business coaches?

I’m an entrepreneur at heart and always have been. I’ve studied business strategies and techniques for a long time and still do. Always learning. I, of course, bring this to the table.

But that’s not what differentiates me from other business coaches.

What differentiates me is… I do much more that provide standard business advice. I don’t believe there is a one size fits all answer. I look for and see unique solutions. I pay attention to the whole person. I recognize the layers underneath that are part and parcel of what drives us. I don’t ignore them. I incorporate them.

Plus, I’ve always been able to hone in on what’s missing for someone…where the missing link is or the blind spot or whatever, identify it, and come up with potential solutions. This is my zone of genius.

how do you maintain your obvious level of excitement, authentic caring, and empathy for your clients?

I love what I do and I’ve designed my business to fit the rhythm that best supports me. This allows me to show up every day resourceful. (It’s what I teach my clients to do as well.)

In terms of being open, authentic caring and empathetic… I have to say it just plain feels better to me to show up this way, so I do. I have a strong core inside and I know how to care for myself. This allows me to show up fully as me for my clients without getting depleted or overwhelmed. Plus, showing up this way amps up my energy.

how do you get at the heart of fear?

Anxiety and fear is a huge issue in business. It’s one of the things that stops us in our tracks. If we don’t attend to it, in a sensitive and real way, then we can’t move forward. You end up running in circles all the time, never making progress.

I developed my own style of working through anxiety and fear. I call body-centered strategy work. It works. And it creates so much more peace internally. It’s truly transformative and is essential to moving forward easily in business.
