Private Workshops
Plan a Workshop For You and Your Friends!
Private workshops are a great way to get a taste of the Alexander Technique at a time and location that is convenient to you.

These workshops introduce the basic principles of the Alexander Technique and take all participants through an experience of applying the principles to activity.

Everyone will get to work with the teacher and will gain insights that they can use in the daily life. Hand-outs and suggestions for continuing the work on your own are included.

Workshops can also be geared to a particular focus (neck and back pain, sciatic, posture, running, singing, etc.) and they can be held at my teaching studio or at your home.

For distances further than a 20 minute drive from my teaching studio there will be additional travel charge.

Cost: $100 per hour
Participation: 2-8 people

Class: It's Not Just Your Chair, How to Sit Comfortably Using the Alexander Technique

Next Class: Not Yet Scheduled
If you're interested in this class please contact me and I will let you know when the next one will be starting.

4 classes plus one individual lesson
$255, includes book and one individual lesson, value of $15 and $75 respectively
(Although best avoided, if your schedule requires you to miss one class you will be credited $40 toward a future lesson, workshop or class. There is no further credit if you miss more than one class.)

This class will teach how to apply the principles of the Alexander Technique to sitting comfortably.

Click here for the syllabus and more detailed information.

Each class includes:
- practical information for you to use immediately
- reading material and visual aids to augment your in-class learning
- experiential exercises and lots of hands-on guidance
- a private lesson to support the in class work

Class size is limited to 4 people because the Alexander Technique is best learned through hands-on guidance from a teacher. Limiting the size ensures everyone gets sufficient hands-on work.

The class cost includes one private lesson. I suggest that you schedule this when you register. It is best to have the lesson sometime during the first two weeks of the class.
