The Alexander Technique is about releasing the tension we put into everything we do so that we can feel great. It is especially helpful for back, neck and shoulder tension and pain, jaw pain, sciatica and repetitive stress injuries. This workshop will give you tools that you can start using immediately for freer and easier movement. You will get a personalized evaluation of your habits of movement and hand-outs to take with you.
This workshop will be at held my teaching studio. Click here for a map showing the location.

Private Workshops
Private workshops are a great way to get a taste of the Alexander Technique at a time and location that is convenient to you.
These workshops introduce the basic principles of the Alexander Technique and take all participants through an experience of applying the principles to activity.
Everyone will get to work with the teacher and will gain insights that they can use in the daily life. Hand-outs and suggestions for continuing the work on your own are included.
Workshops can also be geared to a particular focus (neck and back pain, sciatic, posture, running, singing, stress management, etc.) and they can be held at my teaching studio or at your home.
For distances further than a 20 minute drive from my teaching studio there will be additional travel charge.
One-time Workshop Cost: $100 per hour
Participation: 2-8 people
Private Classes
Private classes are an economical way to study the Alexander Technique. Classes include detailed instruction, discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on work. It's best for classes to occur weekly or twice weekly. The number of classes is completely up to you. Although you'll learn essential information immediately, I have found that most people really start to integrate the information after the fourth class and that a group of tweleve classes is best.
Again, these can be held at a time and location that is convenient to you or at my teaching studio. For distances further than a 20 minute drive from my teaching studio there will be additional travel charge.
Class pricing is described here.
Participation: 2-8 people.
